I have been painting and drawing since I can remember.

During my school years I remember creating portraits for friends to give as gifts and this has never left me. I am thrilled to now be offering this personal service for others to share in.

With an artistic family surrounding me (a photographer, textile designer and animator) it was inevitable that I would follow suit and begin a career in the art world.

I graduated from the University of Leeds with a Fine art degree. On graduating, I found work within art departments for TV and Music video productions and from there I found my way into the Scenic Art world for theatre where I have been painting scenery ever since.

Some of the shows I have worked on include a number for the Shakespeare’s Globe (King Lear, Loves Labours Lost, Anne Boleyn and Henry IV parts 1 & 2), English National Opera (Lucia De Lamamoor, la Traviata) and numerous Westend productions some of which include Calendar Girls, Hairspray, Buddy, Saturday Night Fever, Othello and Macbeth as well as other productions around the country.

With this scenic art background, painting murals and portraits seemed an obvious and natural progression. When I was asked to design a mural for a friend, I decided now was the time to branch out and offer a more personal service. Mural painting allows me to use my design skills to create a piece of art that will turn your dream into a reality and transport your room into another world.

I love working closely with clients to come up with something that makes them truly smile and it is a privilege to know I have contributed to something so special to them.

I hope you enjoy what you see around the site and if you would like to contact me about any type of commission I would love to hear from you.
