Agreement
When purchasing any items or ordering from Alice on the wall, you agree to all the terms and conditions detailed below. Please read them carefully to make sure they contain all that you want and nothing that you are not happy with.
​
Commission Prices
Prices will be quoted by Alice on the wall, sent by email and agreed by transferral of a 50% deposit.
Any quotation or estimate of fees is valid for a maximum of 28 days from it’s date, unless it is expressly withdrawn by Alice at an earlier time.
Payment Terms
A 50% deposit will be required to secure a contract for any commissions. This covers the time reserved for the work to be carried out and materials. No contract will exist until the required deposit has been received and this contract will then be governed by English Law.
The remaining 50% of the quoted amount will be due for payment once you have signed off the completed commission.
For large projects, the remaining 50% may be broken into instalments of two 25% payments. Alice will advise on when this will apply.
The finished commission remains the property of Alice on the wall until all payments have been made.
Once the final payment has been received the commission will be dispatched for delivery.

If the client is not happy with the finished goods and wishes to receive a refund; please see the ‘alteration, cancellation and refund policy’ below

All orders must be paid for using Paypal or BACs, local orders can be paid for with cash on collection and UK orders can be paid with cheques.

Cancellation, Alteration and Refund Policy:

Cancellations:
A 7 day full money back guarantee is provided should you wish to cancel your order after paying the deposit.
​
Due to the bespoke nature of a commission, in the event of cancellation after this 7 day period the 50% deposit becomes non-refundable and will be retained by Alice on the wall. This to cover the cost of any work already started and the time reserved to carry out your commission.
​
Alterations:
If you would like any alterations to be made these must be requested within 7 days of receiving a photograph of the finished commission which will be emailed to you. No amendments will be made once the commission has been sent out for delivery.
​
The number of alterations that will be made at no extra charge will be at Alice on the wall’s discretion and what she deems reasonable.
​
Any alterations to the finished commissions which fall outside the original design brief agreed between Alice on the wall and the client are subject to Alice's discretion and will be subject to further charges.
​
Refunds:
While every endeavour will be made to fulfil any alterations to your satisfaction, if you are still not happy with the finished commission and would like a refund, (either after receiving the emailed photograph of the finished commission or receiving the finished piece in the post) you have 30 days to request this and a refund for the total amount minus the deposit will be given.

If you request a refund after having received your order, the work must be sent back or handed over to Alice on the wall without delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day in which the cancellation of the contract is communicated to Alice on the wall and you agree to bear the cost of returning the goods.

Postage
The Commission will be sent unframed, either flat or in a roll and despatched once full payment has been received.
Postage and packaging costs are additional and are not included in the quote.
The package will be sent by Royal Mail guaranteed next day delivery or delivered by hand if agreed by Alice on the wall.
For any orders to be delivered to outside the UK, you agree here to cover the costs in full for any import duties or other taxes.
Risk of damage to, or loss of any goods will pass to you when the goods are delivered to you.
If you, or your nominees, fail, through no fault of Alice on the wall, to take delivery of the services at the delivery location Alice on the wall may charge the reasonable costs of storing and redelivering them.

If portrait commissions are damaged during shipment, Alice will offer a full refund or a replacement.
​

Copyrights
Copyright for all design work and images of commissions made by Alice on the wall remain the property of Alice on the wall.
Full legal redress may be sought in the event of unauthorised use or reproduction of work or images.
​
Images of commissioned artwork may be used by Alice on the wall for promotional purposes, and client emails may be used in whole or in part for testimonial purposes.
If you do not want to have these images used for promotional purposes, please inform Alice in writing and your wishes will be duly respected.
​
It is your responsibility to ensure that no photographs or other material supplied to Alice on the wall are in breach of copyright laws and that the client has received permission for Alice to use any images supplied for design, making and promotional reasons.
You agree here to assume full legal and financial responsibility for any copyright suit or action which may take place regarding materials that you, the client, has supplied.

Agreement

Refunds:
Due to the bespoke nature of the design and mural painting process, Alice on the wall cannot offer any refunds on mural commissions.
We aim to deliver a high quality of work and customer service through the whole commissioning and painting process, and are proud to say that we have never had an unhappy customer. If you are not satisified with the work in progress or the finished work you must communiacte that with Alice so that she can endeavour to amend it and rectify any issues until you are fully satisfied.

Delivery
If the commission is a canvas painting, it will be delivered via courier and despatched once full payment has been recieved.
​
Courier and packaging costs are additional and not included in the quote.
​

Public Liability
It is your responsibility as the client to ensure all valuable, fragile and any other items are removed from the space before work commences in that space by Alice on the wall. If they cannot be removed, items must be covered and left in the space at the client's own risk, including carpets, rugs and fixture and fittings.

​
​
Preparation
All preparatory work to surfaces which Alice will be painting or working onto must be carried out and fully dry at least 24 hours before Alice arrives to commence work. Any delays to work commencing due to no fault of Alice on the wall may be charged as an additional cost.

Copyrights
Copyright for all design work and images of commissions made by Alice on the wall remain the property of Alice on the wall.
